Abram Westhouse, Jr., age 89, of Moline, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. Abram loved to hunt and fish. He never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Garrett, Bill, Jim, Gus, and Al. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 68 years, Lucille (Schut); children, Mary (Mark) Schmaltz, Charles (Sandy) Westhouse, Bernard (Nancy) Westhouse, Karen (John) Kuipers; grandchildren, Joshua (Alison) Westhouse, Aaron (Kayla) Westhouse, Sammy Miedema, Jason Westhouse, Melissa Westhouse, Kelsey (Garry) Goncalves, Debbi (Jeff) Overweg, Sarah (Nate) Ball; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Johanna VanderKooi, Jenella (Harv) Kronemeyer; sisters-in-law, Diane Koster, Jennie McBrian, and Elizabeth Hoexum. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Hooker Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Moline Christian School or to a charity of your choice. -- |

It is so difficult not being able to attend any funeral home visiting and/or funeral. We are so very sorry about your loss and at the same time very thankful for the promise of spending eternity with Uncle Abe. We will miss him but are vey thankful for the many wonderful memories we have. Praying for God's comfort and grace to surround all of you at this difficult tiime and to provide peace as his memories live on.
