 Craig Wilson, age 85, passed from this world to his heavenly home on Monday, December 14, 2020. He resided at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans. Craig served our country in the Army for 3 1/2 years. He was stationed in Germany under contract for electronics repair and weaponry. He was very proud to have earned an apprenticeship as a wood patternmaker in 1965.  He had an analytical mind, always deciphering and analyzing people and situations. He loved to read, especially the Bible. He also had a fondness for art and expressed that in his landscape and wildlife paintings and he was clever with wood working design. Craig is survived by his four children, Ronald, Rodney, Beverly, and Catherine, seven grandchildren, his brother Jack Meyer, and sister, Carol DeWaard. He was married to Ruth from 1957-1971. His family will have a private celebration of life. Interment in Floral View Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Craig may be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans.
