Ruth Marlene Weaver, age 74, of Caledonia, went to be with her Lord on Monday, November 23, 2020, surrounded by her family after a 16 month struggle with pancreatic cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Jennie Offringa; parents-in-law, Jim and Clara Weaver; brother-in-law, Peter Niewiek. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 52 years, Jim; children, Amy and Todd Walma, Sara and Dan Beute, Lisa and Todd Guikema; grandchildren, Adam and Mandy, Jenna, Nathan, and Julia Walma, Aaron, Noah, and Maggie Beute, Jordan and Tripp Mueller, Nicholas Guikema and Lydia Pols, Sandra Arias Blazquez; brothers and sister, Bill and Carol Offringa, Joy and Curt Boss, Mark and Sheryl Offringa; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Mary and Ron Boes, Bob and Gail Weaver, Steve and Nancy Weaver, Phil and Ruth Weaver; many nieces and nephews. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, November 27, from 12:30 - 1:45 pm at Dutton United Reformed Church, 6950 Hanna Lake Ave. SE, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Rev. Brian G. Najapfour will officiate. Interment will be in Dutton Cemetery.
