Richard E. "Rick" Miller, age 71, entered his heavenly home on Friday, November 13, 2020. Rick was known for his giving nature. He was always ready to lend a hand, tempered with a sarcastic quip. He retired in 2018 after 47 years as a Commercial Insurance Broker. Preceding him in death are his father and mother, Russell and Jean Miller, and his mother-in-law, Barbara Koster. Rick will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Laurie; his children, Maegan (Neal) VanSolkema, Reed (Susan) Miller, Ryan (Erin) Moseley, Breanna (T.J.) Stark; his grandchildren, Penelope and Hazel VanSolkema, Kylin and Owen Moseley; his brothers, Russ (Ruth) Miller, Robb (Micki) Miller; his father-in-law, Gerald Koster; his sisters-in-law, Sherri (David) Whitlock, Carol (Mike) Takas, Kimberly (Randy) Beute; many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his beloved dogs, Zig and Lily. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 19, at Winchester Cemetery, 1400 76th Street SW.
