"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" II Timothy 4:7.  Donald Nelson Lindeman, 89 years old, went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 27, 2020 after a 10 year battle with Alzheimer's. Don served in the Korean war and came home to marry the love of his life, Blanche (Keiff) in 1954. He worked at the Grand Rapids Press as a printer and salesman until retiring in 1994. Don is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Blanche; daughter, Sheri (Randy) Vruggink; sons, Michael (Julie) Lindeman, Mark (Sherl) Lindeman, Scott (Tina) Lindeman; grandchildren, Jenn (Ed) VandenBerg, Rachel (Ben) Robbert, Katie (Chris) Smigiel, Lisa (Nathan) Zwagerman, Jaydon (Kerri) Lindeman, Michael Don (Melissa) Lindeman, Jalyn Lindeman, Danielle (Frank) Thomas, (Gabby) Lindeman, Uriah Lindeman, Liz (Zippy) Dirks, Val (Derrick) Daily; 23 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Don Jonas; many nieces, nephews, and friends. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Marie VanKlink; father, Carl Lindeman; brother, Sonny Lindeman; sisters, Pat Jonas and Joyce Gitchel; and grandson, Jon Lindeman. After receiving Jesus in 1972, Don served his Lord, his church, and his family and friends with much love, integrity, faith, and joy. He leaves behind many wonderful memories that we will hold in our hearts forever. We will miss his infectious smile and humor. Special thanks to the staff and aides at Georgetown/Cambridge Manor and Spectrum Hospice. Because of Covid, a memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Georgetown/Cambridge Manor, Spectrum Hospice, or River of God Church.
