Roseann Peterson, age 76, of Kentwood, was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 25, 2020. Roseann was born on November 11, 1943 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of Arthur and Edna (Kornoelje) Peterson. She graduated from South Christian High School in 1962. Roseann was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Douglas Peterson; and sister-in-law, Mary Peterson. She is survived by her two daughters, Jodi (Eric) Van Zant and Marci Peterson. She was Grandma Rose to Samantha Daniel, Jacob Van Zant, Madelynn Van Zant, Corrin (Andrew) Berg, and Rachael (Matthew) Lopez. She was Great Grandma Rose to Wesley, Cody, and Daisy. Also surviving are her sister, Donna Woods; brother, Ron (Debbie) Peterson; sister, Debi (Gary) Smith; and many nieces and nephews. As requested, cremation will take place and entombment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Due to current conditions, the family will not be holding a public service. However, it would be such a blessing to read your memories in the on-line guestbook. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in memory of Roseann to the Salvation Army.

I was sorry to see that Rose passed.
I remember her fondly as a student at South Christian when I had her in a lit class as well as in the play I directed. Roseann was memorable through her sunny spirit and cheery personality.
My sincere condolences to her mourning family.
