Shelly will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, Jack and Janet Alman; sister, Sheri Alman, niece, Taylor; parents-in-law, Sugath and Amitha Jayasekera Weerasooriya; brothers-in-law, Chanaka (Chuck) and Dulcie Weerasooriya, Sanjo and Krysta Weerasooriya; nephew and nieces, Evan, Kayla, Tessa Weerasooriya; and numerous friends. The family extends sincere thanks to all who helped Shelly during her cancer journey, especially Dr. Notman who has been there from the start, and to Faith Hospice who provided such loving care during her final days. The family will greet visitors on Saturday, September 12, from 9:30 - 11 am at Peace Church, 6950 Cherry Valley Rd., Middleville, where the funeral service will begin at 11 am.  Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Caledonia.
