Charlie Minor, age 68, of Cutlerville, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 3, 2020. Charlie's family was everything to him. He always put them first before anything else. Charlie has loved Dianne ever since they met in 8th grade. They were married for 47 years, and were blessed with three children and nine grandchildren, and together, they shared everything. He loved being a Bumpa more than anything. Grandkids could do no wrong in the land of "yes you can" "You want ice cream for breakfast?! Yes you can, Bumpa says so!" Charlie enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing. Deer camp and Gun Lake were among his favorite places to be. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Dianne; children, Rebecca Mayle (Rob Schreur), Bonnie Geurink-Koetsier (Mike), Adam (Ashley) Minor; grandchildren, Hannah Mayle, Taylor and Kamryn Koetsier, Sammi, Maggie, and Drew Geurink, Blaire, Jack, and Pierson Minor; brother, Paul (Dawn) Minor; sister-in-law, Tami Minor, father and mother-in-law, Wayne and Phyllis Ullery; brothers-in-law, Dan (Diane) Ullery, Bruce (Patti) Ullery, Jim (Michele) Ullery; many loving nieces and nephews. Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Julia, and brother, Clyde Minor. A private graveside service will be held at Yankee Springs Cemetery. A celebration of Charlie's life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Healthwell Foundation (www.healthwellfoundation.org)
