Visitation:  Thursday, September 3, from 12 - 1 pm at Stroo Funeral Home followed by a private family service

Jesse L. Scott, aged 65, of Wyoming, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2020. Jesse served in the U.S. Army. He loved music and was a famous karaoke singer in the Grand Rapids area.  Jesse's father, Tulon Scott; and mother, Zelma Ambrose, preceded him in death. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Ravan (Armando) Arasia; his grandchildren whom he loved, Constance, Jeremiah, Joshua; brothers and sister, Richard Scott, Michael (Cony) Scott, Karen Sue Washinisky; step-mother, Bernice Washinisky; and many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 12 noon - 1 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th Street, SE; where a private family memorial service will be held after the visitation. Contributions in memory of Jesse may be made to First Congregational Church Samaritan's Fund.
