One of the finest gentleman I had the honor of knowing.
He was fun to be around, especially at the Recreation
Department during the summer months. He certainly will be missed as I am glad he was a good person I am fortunate to have known. Rest in peace.

Kurt seemed grounded. Kurt seemed contained. In his quiet facade there seemed to be a wry humor waiting just beneath the surface.
The truest compliment I can say about Kurt is that in retrospect, had I been a parent of an elementary school child attending Stony Creek Elementary School, I would have entrusted that child completely to Kurt's care ... as he served his students as a role model for a kind, thoughtful and listening teacher and human being, and as an all-around caring, very "good guy".
