Lois Anita Fredricks, age 88, of Grand Rapids, was taken to her heavenly home on Monday, July 13, 2020. She was born on May 27, 1932, in Marion, Michigan to Ralph and Elizabeth VanderWal. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by her family. Surviving are her husband, Bill; children and grandchildren, Dale and Sandra Fredricks (Derek Fredricks), Wayne and Sheryl Fredricks (Rebecca and Luke Koops, Laura and John Arens, Timothy and Stephanie Fredricks, Sarah Fredricks), Dawn and John Williams (Lauren and Marty Goodrich, Evan Williams); 11 great grandchildren; six (out of nine) brothers and sisters. Lois and Bill had the privilege of being foster parents to 13 children through Bethany Christian Services and were longtime members of East Paris Christian Reformed Church. Due to Covid-19, a family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, at Blain Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Al Gelder.
