Surrounded by her family, Elaine Beth DeHaan, age 89, entered her heavenly home and was greeted by her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 10, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Henry, this past February. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her children, Douglas (Cindy) DeHaan, Luanne (Don) Nieuwkoop, Laurie Timmerman, Pamela Arwady; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her brother, Robert Haan; her sisters-in-law, Marge Konyndyk and Tress Wiers; many nieces and nephews. The family will greet visitors on Monday, July 13, from 10 - 11 AM at Stroo Funeral Home (please wear face masks and practice social distancing guidelines). A private family graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Ed Visser. Contributions in memory of Elaine may be made to Kindred Hospice.
