I was so pleased to visit with Esther at the Nieuwsma family reunion in 2013. She shared many stories. It was so nice that she and Irene Westra were both reunited at that reunion as they are now in heaven.
My sympathy to the family.

I can still remember the day Gerrit came to our door, checking out the neighborhood before buying their house. It was such a joy to have your family next door for so many years, and after Gerrit died to enjoy more fellowship with Esther- going out to eat together or just visit. They were very special people. You have my sympathy in the death of Esther now. She will be missed. Whenever I visited her she would show me a picture of each member of your family. She loved you all so very much!!
