Visitation:  Wednesday, March 11, from 12 - 1 pm at South United Methodist Church followed by the service
Service: 1 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at South United Methodist Church, 4500 South Division Avenue

David Jack Meyers, age 82, of Wayland, formerly of Cutlerville, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, and has joined his son, Ryan; his parents, Edward and Dolores Meyers; his sister, Sharon Bullock; his brother-in-law, John Burleson; and his sister-in-law, Ann Meyers in their heavenly home. David was a loving, caring, honest man who will be dearly missed. He worked as a CEO and accountant in the manufacturing industry for many years, and enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 59 years, Shirley; children, Connie Scholten, Dave (Suzan) Meyers, Doug Meyers; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren with another on the way; his brother, Ed Meyers; sisters, Nancy Burleson, Linda (Bob) Rietman; as well as his nieces and nephews. David's family will greet visitors from 12 - 1 PM on Wednesday, March 11, at South United Methodist Church, 4500 S. Division Ave., where a memorial service will begin at 1 PM. A time of refreshments will follow the service. For those who wish, memorial gifts in honor of David may be given to South United Methodist Church.

Sorry for your loss. I have so many happy childhood memories of Dave and the rest of the Meyers cousins. I am sure he will be greatly missed by all you. Prayers for peace and comfort..

I have a lot of fond memories of Dave, he used to be our church treasurer for many years when he was well. We had a lot of laughs, and he will be sadly missed by his church family. Many prayers for Shirley and her family during this difficult time.
