Visitation:  One hour prior to the service from 10 - 11 am with Rosary said on Monday, February 3, at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church followed by the funeral at 11 am

James “Jim” Andrie, age 75,  of Caledonia, went to be with his Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2020.  Jim was born on March 10, 1944 and grew up on the Northeast end of Grand Rapids.  He graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1962.  He will be greatly missed by his wife, (Patricia) of 51 years, whom he married on June 28th, 1968 at St. James Catholic Church.  Jim enjoyed working in Real Estate for many years before he moved on to have a long career at Steelcase, where he retired from in the 90’s.  Jim was a devoted family man who thoroughly loved spending time with his grandkids.  He was very active in his church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He liked golfing, fishing and hunting and was active in the Sparta Moose Lodge and the Sparta Sportsman’s Club.  He is survived by his son, Steve (Susan) Andrie of Kalamazoo; grandchildren, Jimmy Andrie, Nicole (Lucas) Haley, Tommy Andrie; brother, Stanley (Barbara) Andrie of Milwaukee; sisters, Irene Andrie of Arizona, Betty (John) Dochod of Newaygo; and brother-in-law, Wayne (Jeri) Stone of Florida.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Edward and Clara Rita Dzierwa Andrie; and brother, George (MaryLou) Andrie.  The family will greet visitors from 10-11 am, with a Rosary said in his honor prior to the service on Monday, February 3 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1253 52nd Street, SE, where the Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM with Fr. Peter Vu as celebrant.  Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.  Memorial Contributions may be made to Faith Hospice, 2100 Raybrook SE, Suite 300, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.
