On Monday, May 6, 2019, Lane Idema, age 52, of Caledonia, formerly of Grandville, was welcomed into the Glorious Gates of Heaven after a nine month battle with ALS. Lane was an avid outdoorsman and athlete. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and just being outside. A man of integrity, if Lane said he would do something, he did it.
