Visitation:  Thursday, December 6, from 6 - 8 pm and Friday December 7, from 11 am - 1 pm followed by military honors at 1 pm

Memorials: American Cancer Society

Ronald E. De Jong, age 73, of Caledonia, went to be with his Lord on Monday, December 3, 2018. Ron proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and retired from Steelcase after 32 years of service. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and enjoyed golfing, hunting, and camping. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 37 years, Linda; children, Don De Jong, Troy (Mellissa) De Jong, Ronda (Rob) Fron; grandchildren, Ayla and Jake De Jong, Elijah, Lillian, Jackson De Jong; Ainsley, Tatum, Lyla Fron; brother, Larry (Jeanne) De Jong; and many nieces, nephews and friends. The family will greet visitors on Thursday, December 6, from 6 - 8 pm and Friday, December 7, from 11 am - 1 pm at Stroo Funeral Home, where military honors will be held at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Larry and Jeanne, Losing a sibling is very hard on us all. I am very sorry to hear of Ronald's passing. Rejoice in his life well lived and cherish all of the fond memories of your life with Ronald.
