Helen was a wise, hard-working woman who dedicated her life to helping others. It was a privilege to work with her during my years at DHQ. Her organizational skills were phenomenal. I have a cross stitched framed Christmas gift from her which I cherish and put up ever year. Praying for the family/friends as you gather for her memorial.

Helen was a dear, dear friend for many many years. She lived across the street from Training College in 1952 when I was a cadet. She let me use her apartment when I had free afternoons and free days, which was a terrific blessing to get out of uniform and the "wall". She will be remembered for her gentle ways and guidance for my way through a tumultuous courtship. Our prayers (my husband Wes and ) go out to her family.
